David Sanders, Ph.D, CSCS*DCEO and Science AdvisorTrained in exercise physiology and sports nutrition, Dave has coached elite athletes to optimal performance. He earned his Doctorate from Rutgers University and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with Distinction from the National Strength and Conditioning Association and a certified Nutrition Coach. Dave has worked with all ages, including national-level youth athletes, NCAA Division I soccer and field hockey, and professional dancers, ice hockey, baseball, and soccer players.
Through his work with the Rutgers University Dance Program and The American Ballet Theatre, he’s become a renowned dance science practitioner. His expertise lies in the dynamic relationship between training load, hormones, and nutrition to optimize health and performance. Over the last fifteen years, Dave has worked in the dance competition industry as a director for Legacy Dance Championships and a faculty member for Axiom Dance Convention. Dave continues his work with dance and athletics at Loyola University, where he serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Health Sciences.

Courtney MyersCo-founder and Dance Conditioning SpecialistOriginally from Houston, Courtney has been dancing all her life. Along with her versatile training, she received her classical ballet training from the Houston Ballet Academy & RAD syllabus through Advanced 2 with distinction under the direction of Catriona Steel. Courtney graduated Cum Laude with a BFA in dance from Point Park University. She has performed works by Martha Graham, Patrick Franz, Doug Bentz, Ron Tassone, Marissa Balzer, & Kassandra Taylor. Some of her professional dance credits include Michael Susten Co., AdDeum Dance, Moody Gardens, VIP Talent, and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines.
As a choreographer, Courtney has received choreography awards nationally from both Dance Masters Of America and Youth America Grand Prix. She has been teaching dance for over 15 years, and is renowned for her versatile technique and pointe preparation. After her professional dance career, Courtney ventured into the health and fitness industry. She is a certified NASM personal trainer, Barre teacher, and Pain-Free Performance Specialist (PPSC). Courtney specializes as a strength and conditioning coach for dancers and has experience working with all levels and ages. Courtney has worked for Legacy Dance Championships for the last ten years as a director and judge. She is also on faculty with Axiom Dance Convention.
